CONNECT YOUR APP

Find your Apple keys.

Apple uses two separate .p8 keys: an In-App Purchase key for subscription server requests, and an App Store Connect API key for your app and product catalog. Add each one in its matching section in Aplyna’s Apps page. You need an Aplyna organization Admin to save credentials.

In-app purchase key

Use this key for Apple subscription server requests. It is separate from the App Store Connect API key.

Users and Access → Integrations → In-App Purchase

Select In-App Purchase under Keys. The Issuer ID appears beneath the introduction. Select the screenshot to enlarge it.
  1. Open the right Apple team

Sign in to App Store Connect as an Account Holder or Admin, then open Users and Access → Integrations → In-App Purchase.

  2. Create or reuse a key

Choose Generate In-App Purchase Key, or the + beside Active. Give it a recognizable name and select Generate. If Aplyna already has this key, use Select existing key instead.

  3. Download the .p8 file

Select Download beside the new key and keep a secure backup. Apple allows only one download; an existing downloaded key cannot be downloaded again.

  4. Copy the two identifiers

Copy Key ID from the key’s row and Issuer ID from above the Active list. The Issuer ID is a UUID; it is different from your Apple Developer Team ID.

  5. Connect it in Aplyna

In the In-app purchase key section, choose Add new key, upload the .p8 file, and enter its Key ID and Issuer ID. Save to validate the connection.

App Store Connect API key

Use this key to connect your Apple app and import its product catalog into Aplyna.

Users and Access → Integrations → App Store Connect API → Team Keys

App Store Connect Integrations with App Store Connect API and Team Keys selected
Select App Store Connect API, then Team Keys. Aplyna uses a team key with an Issuer ID. Select the screenshot to enlarge it.
  1. Open Team Keys

In App Store Connect, open Users and Access → Integrations → App Store Connect API → Team Keys. If API access is unavailable, the Account Holder must request it first.

  2. Generate a team key

An Account Holder or Admin can select + or Generate API Key. Enter a name, select the App Manager access role used for Aplyna’s tested setup, and choose Generate.

  3. Download the .p8 file

Select Download API Key and keep a secure backup. Apple permits one download. Use a team key for this form; individual API keys use a different authentication flow.

  4. Copy the two identifiers

Copy Key ID from the key’s row and Issuer ID from above the Active list. The Issuer ID is a UUID; it is different from your Apple Developer Team ID.

  5. Connect it in Aplyna

In the App Store Connect API key section, choose Add new key, upload the .p8 file, and enter its Key ID and Issuer ID. Save to validate and import products.

Reuse & troubleshooting.

Already connected another app?

Choose Select existing key in the matching section. Aplyna lists saved keys from your organization and validates access for the new app. In-App Purchase and App Store Connect keys have separate lists. Keep your .p8 files private; never include them in your mobile app or repository.

Can’t find the Issuer ID?

Open the relevant Integrations page on the correct Apple team. Look above Active for Issuer ID and copy the full UUID. Your Apple Developer Team ID is a different identifier. Copy the Key ID from the same row as the file you downloaded.

Lost the downloaded file?

Reuse a key already saved in Aplyna, restore your secure backup, or ask your Apple Account Holder or Admin to create another key. Keep keys used by existing integrations active until their migration is complete.
